Sweetness + Science = Ice Cream Lab
Going out for ice cream just got sweeter. Ice Cream Lab recently debuted in Beverly Hills with a lineup of decadent flavors like Angeles Apple Pie (made with cinnamon apples and graham crackers), Blue Velvet Cupcake (served with large chunks of blue velvet cupcake and sweet cream cheese icing), and Salt Lick Crunch (mixed with pretzel pieces, caramel and sea salt).
You'll watch in amazement as “Lab Techs” at this made-to-order shop craft the ice cream from organic, local ingredients right in front of your eyes. The secret? Super cold blasts of liquid nitrogen that billow over with icy clouds to instantly freeze the dessert into a smooth and creamy treat. That's unlike traditional ice cream shops that pre-freeze their selections.
Kids will love watching their desserts transform before their eyes and you'll appreciate the fact that besides being delicious, the products and ingredients are free of additives, preservatives, and harmful chemicals.
Ice Cream Lab is open from 12pm-11 pm, Sunday-Wednesday, and 12 pm-12 am, Thursday-Sunday
