Recipe: Marshmallow Dreidles
This Hanukkah my mother passed on a recipe that was almost as fun to make as it was to eat. The kids were able to participate in almost every step from dipping to spearing the marshmallows. Best of all, our guests couldn't get enough. YUM!
Chocolate Marshmallow Dreidels
20-25 pretzel sticks
2 cups chocolate chips chips
20-25 Hershey kisses unwrapped
Melt chocolate chips in microwave on high about 2 minutes. Remove and stir.
With a knife or spatula smear melted chocolate on the bottom of each marshmallow as if it's the glue.
Stick a chocolate kiss on each marshmallow to make a dreidel shape
On the opposite end, carefully insert a pretzel stick
Set the dreidels on a pan lined with wax paper and place in refrigerator about 30 to 40 min. until hardened
Carefully pick-up by the pretzels and spread or dip into chocolate ...if necessary, mix1tsp oil into chocolate and microwave 30 sec to soften. Place on wax paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar or sprinkles ( opt.)
